This is my personal trash (treasure) heap! This is an about section, so I'm about to monologue for a full few paragraphs about myself and this site and how I willed it into existence. Buckle up dear web-surfer!

I go by a bunch of different usernames: Chaos, Joose, Stardust, and even Autumn if you're feeling strange. I do a lot of drawing, animation, and writing. I really like birds, various forms of art, surrealism, indie(?) games, and the internet!
I've been trying my hand at html on and off probably since late 2024 - early 2025 after discovering artfight which led to me discovering this wonderful place called Neocities! Especially in this current day customization drought on social media, finding people's personal sites on here so attuned to their own interests, so utterly human, made me want to learn this crap so I could maybe one day achieve a fraction of some of these pages' sophistication. Does that make sense? It's just really cool to see a website that you can stare at and say with confidence "wow, no other person in history could have made this!" I guess that is my reason for creating this site. To make something that only I could have made.

I will be happy to try and dig it out for you. Please contact me via discord. my handle is Stardust0052. Thank you for understanding.

BIRD OF THE MOMENT!

Bird

Oilbird
The fruit bat of the bird world is what I like to call them. Oilbirds are a flying, nocturnal, and frugivorous, birds that are so unique that they are the only member of their family, Streatornithidae. They roost in and share caves with several other oilbirds, sometimes going up to 10,000 birds wowee. They navigate through their caves during the day and forage at night using echolocation, sense of smell, and excellent vision. The oilbird has the highest rod density in the retina of any vertebrate which basically means their eyes absorb a lot of light. Baby oilbirds are fed a lot of fatty fruits so they actually get bigger than the adults from this diet. According to the first guy that discovered these beautiful freaks and because the babies are so rich in oil, local indigenous people would boil the oilbird babies to use for lamps and such. The ‘novelty’ of these strange birds brings tourism to areas like Venezuela and parts of Bolivia. Yeah so they are basically just oily birds.
